7. Prolong The Pause

Like many people on this planet are now over eating, many of us are actually also breathing too much.

In fact 25% of us suffer from chronic over-breathing. This has many serious implications, as we expel too much CO2 in the process and create conditions in our bodies, that are primed for disease.

This can lead to everything from asthma to chronic immune disorders.

But willing the body to breathe less, by taking in less air in fewer inhalations, has been shown to work wonders for these issues, and even to boost our physical abilities.

We know that the mammals that breathe the slowest, live the longest lives. It is time to learn from the blue whale.
