10. The Power of No Breath

The art of holding your breath has been a part of ancient practices for more than 2000 years.

But breath-holding is not something that most of us seek to explore. We’ve been told that denying our bodies oxygen for extended periods is not a good thing. And for the most part, that is sound advice.

But the breath-holding that we do willingly - like it was the case with heavy breathing - actually has very positive effects.

When we do them properly, they can work wonders.
